Our mission at Faith over Fear is to give back to the community through a variety of resources. We at Faith over Fear are believers in 2nd chances, that’s what these inspirations came from. We are here to aid people in times of need. It could be the loss of a loved one, not having the resources to make rent for the month, not having the resources to put food on the table, Overwhelmed by not thinking the end to a bad situation is near, battling addiction, the list could go on Understanding that we are here to help people get back on the right track. We have all made choices in our lives that created negative situations. We support those leaving abusive relationships by fostering a safe, welcoming environment for new beginnings. People have made poor choices putting them in a tough situation or a correctional institution. Understanding the judicial system most know, the outcome is usually never good during this time. People have the desire to overcome their demons and correct their downfalls, obstacles, struggles, and life gets in the way, and they don’t have the ability to overcome them. We, here at Faith over Fear, are here to teach you how to overcome these obstacles, how to use your resources to bounce back and make a great life for you and/or family. - Share knowledge and good practices: Use platforms like the media to share stories and best practices of overcoming fear, creating a culture of resilience within the community.
- Foster confidence and self-belief: Encourage participation in shared activities and training that builds emotional and psychological resilience, which can boost overall community confidence.
- Normalize and accept fear: Acknowledge that fear is a normal emotion, but a valid one, and that the community will support each other in facing it. Avoid letting fear lead to isolation.
